Webtoon announces partnership with Warner Bros. Animation for 10 new anime series.

Webtoon Entertainment has revealed a groundbreaking partnership with Warner Bros. Animation to co-produce 10 animated series based on some of the world's most popular webtoons , in a project that will be distributed globally.

This initiative represents a significant expansion of Webtoon's animated production line , which has been consolidating its position as one of the largest digital storytelling platforms today.
Titles will be selected from the Korean and English versions of the platform , with support from Webtoon's production teams in the United States and the intellectual property department in Japan.

First series confirmed

Among the first projects revealed are:

These productions promise to bring to the world of animation the unique energy and style that have made webtoons captivate millions of readers around the globe.

A new chapter for webtoons.

Yongsoo Kim, global director of Webtoon, highlighted the importance of this collaboration:

“Our creators are building franchises that Generation Z loves. Working with Warner Bros. Animation is an incredible opportunity to take these stories even further.”

Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, also commented:

“Combining Warner Bros.’ art with Webtoon’s vibrant storytelling creates an incredible combination. We can’t wait to get started!”

With this alliance, Webtoon reinforces its presence among major entertainment studios, alongside previous partnerships with Netflix, Disney, and Amazon .
