Studios are vying for the anime adaptation of Kagurabachi!

Takeru Hokazono 's manga Kagurabachi has been winning over fans and establishing itself as one of the most popular works in Weekly Shonen Jump. The story follows Chihiro Rokuhira , a young man seeking revenge and the enchanted swords of his deceased father, in a plot full of action, magic, and a dark atmosphere that has captivated readers.

Now, rumors are circulating that major studios are vying for the rights to adapt it into an anime. Sources indicate that studios such as MAPPA (responsible for hits like Jujutsu Kaisen ) and Pierrot (known for Bleach ) are among those interested in bringing Kagurabachi to the screen.

The information was revealed by a Japanese anime news account, which suggested that the adaptation is only a matter of time. Although the source urged caution, many fans believe that Kagurabachi will indeed be turned into an anime due to its overwhelming success. And while big names like Ufotable and Bones don't seem interested, other major studios are willing to enter the race.

Furthermore, fans on social media expressed diverse opinions about which studio would be ideal for the adaptation. Studios such as Ufotable, known for their impeccable work on Demon Slayer , and CloverWorks, which received praise from the author Hokazono, were also mentioned, although they are not confirmed in the running for the adaptation.

Shonen Jump has not yet officially commented on the adaptation of Kagurabachi , so we must wait for further information. Meanwhile, the manga continues to be published weekly, and fans can follow it on the Manga Plus website/app.
