Overlord fans, rejoice! The film Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom is finally coming to Brazilian cinemas, with a premiere scheduled for 2024. Distributed by Crunchyroll in Latin America, the film promises an intense cinematic experience, full of action and adventure in the world of Ainz Ooal Gown.
In Japan, the film officially premieres on September 20th, with an advance IMAX screening on the 13th. Here in Brazil, the exact dates are yet to be announced, but we already know that the release will happen sometime this year!
Synopsis
"The Sacred Kingdom" is the first film in the Overlord franchise and takes place shortly after the events of the fourth season of the anime. The plot revolves around the Sacred Kingdom, which is on the brink of destruction at the hands of the fearsome demon Jaldabaoth and his army of monstrous creatures. To protect the kingdom, its leaders have no choice but to seek the help of the powerful and enigmatic Ainz Ooal Gown, the Sorcerer King of the Dark Nation.

Recently, all four seasons of Overlord were added to Netflix's catalog, dubbed in Portuguese. Furthermore, the anime was chosen to be featured on the CCXP24 , alongside other titles such as Solo Leveling and Tower of God .
For fans of Ainz Ooal Gown and his challenges, Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom promises to continue the epic saga of the Sorcerer King. Now all that's left is to wait for the premiere in Brazil and prepare for another great battle in the sacred kingdom!
