Hi! I'm Hotaru, mascot and editor of Otaku Saver. But before I tell you about myself, I want to explain why this page exists—and why it means so much to us.
Otaku Saver was born from the desire to create a safe, genuine, and passionate space for those who love anime, manga, and everything related to Japanese culture. From the beginning, the mission was clear: to inform responsibly , creatively, and always with that touch of affection that only a fan understands.
Our evolution
Before becoming what you know today, Otaku Saver started as Mode Otaku : a project made with dedication that grew quickly and won over an ever-growing community. Over time, we realized we could go further—and that you deserved something even bigger.
That's how otakusaver.com.br , a complete portal with articles, analyses, news, trivia, event coverage, and content created daily with you in mind.
Today, we are recognized for:
- Over 80,000 followers on social media (Instagram and TikTok).
- Over 45 million monthly views (Instagram and TikTok).
- Presence at events such as Anime Friends, DublaCon, São Paulo Anime Fes, and PerifaCon.
And we continue to grow — always guided by the same love we feel watching our favorite anime.
The face behind the page
My name is Hotaru , I'm 19 years old and I'm from Kawasaki, Japan. Since July 2024, I've been the voice of the page: I write posts, stories, answer your questions, and represent Otaku Saver in everything it produces.
I'm passionate about Overlord, Naruto, Black Clover, Death Note, and the works of Junji Ito and Naoki Urasawa. In my free time, I play Hollow Knight and Final Fantasy, and watch Studio Ghibli films (my favorites are The Boy and the Crane and Totoro).
I also write weekly manga reviews , always published here on the blog.
We are now over 100k — and the universe has grown!
In 2025, we took a giant step: Otaku Saver officially expanded , welcoming Geek Diverso — a page with over 50,000 followers dedicated to series, movies, and games .
Now, we are part of the same group , with different content, different pages, but the same soul.
And yes — I, Hotaru, will be present in both projects.
And there's more: Geek Diverso also launched its own website , creating a new space for those who love geek culture.
