The Chainsaw Man movie arrives in Brazilian cinemas with an 18+ rating.

The highly anticipated Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Arc of Reze officially premieres in Brazilian cinemas on October 23rd , distributed by Sony Pictures. The production will be shown in traditional formats, but also in IMAX theaters 3D technology , being the first anime to premiere in Brazil in this format.

The film received an 18+ rating , citing "extreme violence, legal drugs, and sexual content." This decision reflects the more mature tone of the original material, as Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga has always been marked by heavy and intense themes.

Just as happened recently with Demon Slayer: Castle Infinite , the higher rating caught the attention of fans, but it was already expected. In fact, the Chainsaw Man , available on Crunchyroll, also received an age restriction for adults in Brazil.

Furthermore, the film will have dubbed and subtitled versions , expanding access options for audiences in theaters. The story adapts chapters 39 to 52 of the manga, introducing Lady Reze, a character who wins Denji's heart but harbors dark secrets that could change the course of the plot.

With an explosive plot, striking visuals, and an unprecedented showing in 3D and IMAX, Arco da Reze promises to be one of the year's biggest highlights for anime fans in Brazilian cinemas.
